Our Story
Our journey began with a simple yet powerful vision: to make accurate and practical healthcare knowledge accessible to all Sri Lankans, especially in Sinhala and Tamil – the languages closest to our people’s hearts. Led by Dr. Lilantha Wedisinghe, a respected Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in Australia, our team comprises over 40 doctors and medical professionals based in Sri Lanka, Australia, and the UK.
This initiative was born out of our collective grief – many of us have lost loved ones to preventable diseases. In their memory, we have united to provide scientifically accurate, culturally relevant health guidance to every home in Sri Lanka and beyond.
Our Vision and Mission
To build a healthier, more informed Sri Lanka by breaking language and accessibility barriers in healthcare education.
We aim to prevent disease before it starts by sharing evidence-based, up-to-date, and easily understandable medical content in Sinhala and Tamil. All our material is reviewed by experienced doctors and translated carefully to ensure it remains relevant, relatable, and respectful to our diverse audiences.
Our voluntary effort has no commercial motive. We are driven by passion, compassion, and the belief that knowledge saves lives.
